MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
A Message from Opeyemi Olajide Olowookere, President of GSKI USA.
As President of GSKI USA, I want to thank you for your interest in joining our vision to provide life-affirming services to children in Africa and the world-at-large. GSKI USA has been working for underprivileged people in Africa, particularly in Nigeria, to improve the lives of children living in street situations and at-risk youth, since our beginning.
I would like to express my appreciation for the big hearted, self-sacrificing, industrious and kind people who make our organization possible. This includes board members, employee, volunteers and many other stakeholders who bring their talent, energy, money and time to support our mission of helping children and youth. Due to all of their help, we have been able to make progress in achieving our goals in spite of considerable limitations and challenges.
GSKI USA has a track record of responding to the needs of the most vulnerable children and communities in dire circumstances. We create opportunities to transform lives in the world working alone and with other organizations and NGOs who share our mission and vision for the wellbeing of children, women, and at-risk youth. Through our programmes, educational support, vocational training, and empowerment, we improve human lives and in so doing, address inequalities and poverty. We believe this uplifts humanity. As we lift others, we lift ourselves.
Everyone, no matter who you are or where you’re from, has the power to do something to improve the world. To us, it doesn’t matter where children came from or who they are, we see their potential. Though they typically come from complex situations and challenges, we feel a tremendous responsibility to empower them with opportunities to become thriving humans who can live productive and fulfilling lives. We believe that pursuing this goal brings positive change to humanity and will make the world a better place for generations to come.
Our core value as a team at GSKI USA is to be generous as we respond with humanitarian service in the world at-large to create an enabling and safe environment for all young people. We invite you to join with us in making a better world for us all.
