We place special focus on advocacy, education, empowerment, and capacity building.
Focus areas
Global Support for Kids Initiative USA is a not-for-profit corporation organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service code. The purpose of the organization is to protect children from all forms of abuse and neglect, and provide life-saving services to children and at-risk youth living in street situations.
GSKI USA is an international non-governmental organization that places special focus on advocacy, education, empowerment, and capacity building working alongside other organizations that have children’s interests in mind, most especially that of street connected children.
One of the purposes of GSKI USA is to fundraise and generate resources through donations to support the activities of the GSK Initiative Nigeria and other organizations whose mission & objectives align with those of GSKI USA in Africa and around the world.

Our core values
Objectives
- Fund raising in the USA and worldwide to support GSKI funded programs. Funds are distributed through grants and awards as directed by the Board of Directors.
- Entering into agreements and collaborating with other organizations to support the mission of GSKI USA
- Engage in public awareness campaigns advocating for children and youth experiencing abuse and neglect or are homeless living on the street
- Advocate for the needs of underserved young people and families with officials and policy makers in local, state, and national governments.
- Provide training and education for people working with children, youth, and families who have experienced abuse and neglect, are homeless, or need developmental support.
- Engage in research to identify effective strategies and methods to increase support to children, youth, and families in need.
- Provide support for children, youth, and families displaced due to natural disasters and political instability.
