At GSKI USA, we strive to empower thousands of youth and women by equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to lead lives of dignity, purpose, and economic stability.
Our programme concerning this approach is a cornerstone of our Strategic Plan, which is centered on the provision of high-intensity services, expanding and improving employment for our beneficiaries around the world.
Reason for GSKI USA empowerment programme
To increase long-term stability and positive outcomes for at-risk youth and vulnerable women, we will:
- Creating comprehensive and diverse employment programmes, so our young people have the skills, experience, and knowledge required to be strong contributors to the growth of the economy.
- Providing formal learning activities, and skill development.
- To empower the youth and women to enable them to provide for their basic needs and meet goals, and achieve long-term stability.

Two strategic objectives will guide the implementation of the Empowerment Programme to support At Risk Youth and women:
Promote Productivity and Economic Empowerment
The economic empowerment of youth, women is a prerequisite for their growth, prosperity, and the development of their communities. The first strategic objective is to support the people tounfold their potential to create economic wealth, provide them with sustainable and decent empowerment, increase their savings and investments, and develop their capacity and technical knowledge for entrepreneurship development and employment.
We prioritize programs that advance young people’s political and civil participation and rights; that amplify youth voices, increase their decision-making powers, and raise awareness of their rights and needs; and that empower young people to educate and inspire their peers to act.
Support Engagement and Participation
We are open to support local organizations that prepare young people, most especially the vulnerable and at risk youth to shape their own futures, advance their rights, and lead healthy, productive lives by providing human rights training, vocational skills training, financial literacy, leadership and entrepreneurship development, mentorships, life-skills training, and other economic and social empowerment activities.
We believe that by investing in at risk youth and women, we advance their rights and work towards the transformation of their innovation, opportunity, and social change.
This approach towards development and growth recognize that the ultimate aim is to support the at risk youth and women in our society. The strategy will promote and encourage a state of engagement from the people and make them aware of their societal needs, their capacities, and abilities and ready to take the initiative and contribute positively to their development and that of their communities and countries.
